About Callie

Real guidance for real-life decisions.

Before becoming licensed in insurance, I spent years helping businesses through marketing and growth strategy. I understand the pace of running a company, the challenge of communicating clearly, and how hard it can be to make one more important decision when there is already so much to manage.

My interest in insurance became much more personal a few years ago.

Until then, I had always thought of myself as healthy. I didn’t have a long history of serious illness, so I never expected to suddenly find myself almost completely bedbound with pain and fatigue I had never experienced before.

After several trips to the emergency room without clear answers, I ended up back again with sepsis. That led to more testing, a spinal tap, a CSF leak, and an unexpected hospital stay that lasted more than a week.

At that point, insurance was honestly the last thing I was thinking about.

My family and I were scared. I wasn’t able to work. I wasn’t able to take care of myself or my kids the way I normally would. Every day seemed to bring more labs, testing, procedures, and bills.

Then the charges started coming through.

Just over $80,000.

That was a completely different kind of fear.

What I didn’t fully appreciate until then was how strong our coverage was, and how valuable it was to have a local insurance professional I could call. He answered my questions, helped me understand what needed to be submitted, and kept reassuring me that those enormous charges were not going to become an enormous bill for my family.

That experience changed the way I looked at insurance.

It stopped feeling like paperwork or another expense and became something much more real: one less thing to be afraid of when life had already become frightening enough.

Today, I bring that perspective into the way I work with families and businesses.

For families, that means helping people understand what they already have, what they may need, and where potential gaps might exist.

For businesses, it means helping owners make sense of employee-benefit options and the role those benefits can play in supporting the people who work for them.

I want to be the person my clients can call when they are confused, worried, or simply trying to understand what comes next.
