Insure With Cal

Privacy, in plain language.

How information is handled when you use this website.

Privacy Policy

Insure With Cal is operated by Callie Ziegelgruber, a licensed insurance agent with Bates Insurance Group. You may browse this website and use its educational resources without creating an account. We collect information only when you choose to submit a form, use optional analytics, or contact us.

Information we collect and why

Depending on the form, this may include identifiers such as your name, email address, phone number, employer or company details, and the message you send. The Family Needs Analysis may also collect the household planning figures, existing coverage, and savings information you enter to calculate and email the preliminary estimate you request. We use this information to provide the requested estimate, respond to a Benefits Review or Contact request, maintain appropriate business records, and improve website performance in aggregate.

Our website forms are not an insurance application. Please do not send Social Security numbers, payment-card or bank-account details, medical records, health diagnoses, or other sensitive personal information through this website.

How information is shared

When you select “View My Results” in the Family Needs Analysis, we store the contact information and planning details you provide and send a copy of the preliminary estimate to the email address you enter through Postmark, a transactional email provider. This delivery is part of the result you requested, not a marketing subscription. Employee Benefits Review and Contact forms store the details you submit so we can respond to your request. A secure internal notification email alerts the site owner to new Benefits Review and Contact submissions.

We use service providers to operate the site. Cloudflare may process limited technical request data, such as IP addresses and browser information, for security and performance. Google Analytics may process cookie and device information only if you allow optional analytics, and Google Search Console helps us understand how Google indexes the public website. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, or Family Needs Analysis financial inputs to Google Analytics or Search Console.

When you submit a form, we may retain one simplified source category, such as Direct, Google, Facebook/Instagram, Other search, or Other, to understand which marketing efforts lead to requested conversations. We do not retain referrer URLs, campaign details, or submitted form data in advertising platforms.

We do not sell personal information, use it for targeted advertising, or share it for unrelated marketing. We share information only as needed to operate the site, deliver a requested email, respond to your request, comply with law, or, if you later request a quote or submit an application, with Bates Insurance Group and applicable carriers as permitted by law.

Your choices

You may use the site’s cookie choices to allow or decline optional analytics. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of stored website lead information by emailing callie@batesinsuranceok.com or calling 405-657-4288. We will respond consistent with applicable law and recordkeeping obligations. Website lead records are reviewed for deletion after 24 months. When a record is deleted, the contact details, form content, financial planning inputs, and linked conversion events are permanently removed. We retain only a non-identifying audit entry that records the original record number, type, date, and deletion action. Submitting a website form does not add you to a marketing list.

Insurance privacy notices

If you become an insurance customer, request a quote, or submit an application, separate privacy notices and disclosures from Bates Insurance Group, an applicable carrier, or another regulated party may apply to that relationship. Those notices govern the information collected and used in that insurance transaction.
